253 Goans arrested by law enforcement agencies with drugs since 2020

PANAJI: In what could be worrying trend, Off late, large number of Goans are being caught in the narcotic trade. According to data, in last five years 253 Locals have been arrested by the law enforcement agencies with drugs.The drug menace in Goa has been increasing. Goa police registered 762 drug cases from 2020 to February 28, 2025. Police have also arrested 76 people of which 137 are foreigners, 505 non Goans, and 253 Goans from 2020 till Febryary 28, 2025.
