Karapur :AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik, along with Vice President Sunil Singnapurkar, visited Karapur and expressed solidarity and support to the villagers protesting against the mega project. AAP State President Valmiki Naik stated that, for the uncontrolled, destructive greed of BJP of filling it’s pockets, large tracts of land, traditional agricultural areas, forests, which for centuries have been protected by our ancestors, are being converted for settlements, impacting local livelihoods. Today, they’re destroying mountain to build a beach and tomorrow they’ll destroy beach for their fantasy of having mountains. AAP Leaders have promised full support to the protesting villagers in their fight to preserve their land and environment against the destruction by BJP, and stand with them against the destructive and unjust development practices and assured that every effort will be made to stop the project before 2027.
