Vasco:BJP-Congress have been running Goa together for last 13 years: Arvind Kejriwal**What have BJP and Congress given Goa in 13 years besides Gundaraj, unemployment, broken roads, illegal construction and violence?” asks Kejriwal**AAP is the only hope for Goans, AAP will form government in 2027: Arvind Kejriwal*Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on Friday to a rousing reception from party leaders and volunteers. AAP supporters thronged Dabolim airport, holding handwritten posters and raising slogans, giving Kejriwal a thumping welcome that underlined the party’s growing connect with Goans ahead of the Zilla Panchayat polls.Addressing the media shortly after his arrival, Kejriwal launched a sharp attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said the BJP has ruled Goa for the past 13 years with Congress’ support but failed to deliver on the most basic needs of the people. “In the last 13 years, what has BJP given to Goa besides Gundaraj?” he asked.Pointing to the recent Rama Kankonkar case, Kejriwal said it was a reflection of the deteriorating law and order situation. “This is not an isolated incident. People who raise their voices against the government are suppressed. Today, Goans are living in fear,” he said. The AAP chief further expressed concerns over rising unemployment, increasing crimes against women, and rampant illegal constructions. He stressed that Goans, known for their peace-loving nature, deserve safety and reliable access to essentials such as affordable electricity, uninterrupted water supply, and good motorable roads.Kejriwal asserted that both BJP and Congress have failed the people of Goa, leaving them disillusioned. “Goans have no hope left in Congress or BJP. Only AAP is the hope for Goans, and I am confident that AAP will form its government on its own in 2027,” he declared.
