Goa police on Sunday arrested Shekhar Raizada, owner of Hike ‘n’ Fly, after a woman tourist from Maharashtra and a paraglider operator from Nepal died while paragliding at Keri plateau on Saturday evening.We have arrested Shekhar Raizada, and he was produced before the judicial magistrate first class and remanded to five days police custody,” Mandrem PI Sherif Jaques told TOI.The incident took place on Saturday between 4.30pm and 5pm after the rope snapped while the two were paragliding.Police identified the deceased as 27-year-old Pune resident Shivani Dabale and 26-year-old operator Suman Nepali. Jaques said that they are waiting for the family of the deceased to arrive in Goa to conduct the postmortem examination.
