PANAJI: MLA Michael Lobo has said the proposed Anti-Conversion Bill is unlikely to be taken up during the ongoing Goa Assembly session, stressing that the legislation requires detailed study before it is placed before the House.
Lobo said the government should consult all stakeholders before moving ahead with the bill. He also stressed the importance of respecting every religion and maintaining religious harmony.
He called for a cautious and inclusive approach while examining the proposed legislation.
