Bastora Assault Case victim family demands justice..

Mapusa: The family members of the couple who was assaulted at Bastora by a group of people have claimed that police have registered the case but no further action is taken.The couple was assaulted at Bastora over road rage by a group. One person has been admitted in the hospital.The victim’s family claimed thatalthough the accused have been identified, the Mapusa Police remain silent. According to the victims’ family members, the incident was horrific. They have clearly identified the accused, but the police are not taking any action.The victims’ families allege that they are being treated poorly by the Mapusa Police. Notably, two of the accused are police personnel, and one is a government employee working in the Electricity Department. It is alleged that politicians are pressuring the police not to proceed with the case.Both victims are currently admitted to a private hospital, and their family members are pleading for justice in front of the Mapusa Police Station
