Canacona Congress Hosts Empowering Women’s Workshop on Goa’s 39th Statehood Day.

Canacona:39th Statehood Day of Goa, the Canacona Congress Parivar, in association with the Mahila Congress Canacona organized a Women Empowerment Workshop on 30th May, 2025, at Yeda, Cotigao, Canacona, Goa. The workshop was aimed at promoting self-reliance, skill development and awareness among women in the Canacona region. The Women Empowerment Workshop was a successful event as it saw participation in large numbers from enthusiastic women of all age groups, representing various parts of Cotigao and surrounding area. The Resource Persons invited to conduct the Workshop addressed key issues such as women’s rights, games, crafts, economic empowerment of women to make them self-reliant. Women who participated in this Women Empowerment Workshop was so enthusiastic that during interactive sessions and even during resource session, they came forward to express their feelings, queries/doubts and have expressed their gratitude for this innovative, interactive and meaningful Workshop organized by Canacona Congress Parivar and Congress Mahila Canacona.
