Canacona Man Booked Over Alleged Trespass, Threats And Assault

CANACONA: Canacona Police have registered a case against a local man for allegedly trespassing into a shop in Agonda, damaging property, threatening the owner with death and assaulting him.

According to a complaint filed by Kamal Kishor, a Canacona resident and native of Delhi, the incident allegedly occurred between 1:30 pm on August 28 and 8:30 am on August 29, 2026.

The accused, identified as Ankush Pagi, allegedly entered the complainant’s rented shop and damaged 18 boxes of floor tiles, causing an estimated loss of ₹15,000.

The complaint further alleges that while Kishor and his labourers were carrying out flooring work, Pagi abused them and issued death threats. He also allegedly assaulted Kishor by slapping him and punching him.

Canacona Police have initiated an investigation. Further probe is being conducted by PSI Ramdas Doifode.
