The proposed ₹100 transfer of Jamshedpur FC’s ISL licence to Churchill Brothers has reached the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Goan football fan Derick Dias has sought urgent interim relief to stop the proposed transfer, arguing that it could undermine sporting merit and bypass the promotion-relegation system.
CAS is now examining the request, with its decision potentially affecting Churchill Brothers’ participation in the upcoming ISL season.
