Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Saturday flagged off the “Ride of Pride” Rally organised by the Goa Police at Police Headquarters in Panaji, marking the beginning of the build-up to the historic presentation of the President’s Colour to Goa Police.
The rally will travel across the State, carrying the message of “Shaurya, Suraksha and Seva” (Courage, Security and Service) and creating awareness among citizens about the significance of the prestigious honour being conferred on the Goa Police.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sawant said the President’s Colour is a recognition of the courage, discipline, dedication and professional excellence demonstrated by the Goa Police.
He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to further strengthen and modernise the police force through improved infrastructure, advanced technology, enhanced training and citizen-centric policing.
The “Ride of Pride” rally is aimed at taking the significance of the President’s Colour to people across Goa while highlighting the contribution and service of the Goa Police to the State.
