CM Welcomes Centre’s New Labour Laws, Assures Strong Worker Protection in Goa.

SANKHALI: Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has welcomed the Centre’s newly introduced labour laws, stating that the State government is fully committed to ensuring a fair and secure working environment for all workers in Goa.Dr. Sawant said the new labour framework will strengthen the rights of workers across sectors, and the Goa government will ensure its proper implementation without compromise.He emphasised that under the new laws, workers in the State will not face exploitation, wage inequality or any form of gender-based discrimination.Assuring strict enforcement, the Chief Minister said the government will take all necessary steps to guarantee equal wages for equal work and uphold the dignity and protection of every worker.He reiterated that safeguarding labour rights remains a top priority as Goa aligns itself with the reformed labour regulations introduced by the Centre.
