COLVA: Colva Police have arrested three persons following a raid on an alleged online gambling operation at a house in the 3rd Ward of Colva.
The raid was conducted on Wednesday evening, August 20, between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm after police received information about alleged illegal betting activities at the premises.
Police identified the arrested persons as Jitendrasinh Chauhan, 24, Narendrasinh Rathod, 25, and Rahul Patel, 33.
According to police, the accused were allegedly caught accepting online bets and operating computer-based and online games.
Police seized 11 laptops, 30 mobile phones and other equipment, with the total value of the seized material estimated at around ₹13 lakh.
