PANAJI: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has decided to ramp up its grassroots outreach and reinforce its organisational network across the state while intensifying its campaign against the BJP government’s alleged anti-people policies.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the party’s senior leadership at the Congress headquarters in Panaji, chaired by AICC Goa in-charge Manickrao Thakare.
The meeting was attended by GPCC President Girish Chodankar, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao, and Working Presidents M.K. Shaikh and Altone D’Costa.
Party leaders held extensive discussions on strengthening the organisation, increasing constituency-level engagement, and expanding the Congress’ reach among the people.
The Congress also reviewed plans for an intensified public outreach programme aimed at highlighting issues affecting citizens and building a stronger political campaign against the BJP-led government.
Reaffirming its commitment to the people of Goa, the party leadership said Congress would continue to raise public grievances and work towards strengthening its presence across all constituencies.
The party further asserted that it would emerge as a stronger voice for Goans by actively taking up issues related to governance, public welfare, and development in the coming months.
