Days after Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh claimed that Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and his wife were involved in an alleged multi-crore “cash-for-jobs” scam in Goa, Sawant on Wednesday hit back, saying he will file defamation case against all those, including AAP leaders, who have levelled “baseless allegations”.Speaking to media persons outside the Dabolim airport on Wednesday night, Sawant said, “I was the first to call for an enquiry against the accused. We have given a free hand to police for a free and fair investigation. The investigation is being conducted in a transparent manner.”Referring to AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Sawant said, “This MP of the AAP, whose name is being mentioned… he was in jail for two years in the excise scam. He is out on bail now. He has a habit of making false allegations against people… Those who are out on bail in the excise scam should not make allegations against me. I will file a defamation suit against him and he will have to answer in court.”
