Panaji: Goa’s Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Ltd recorded a revenue of Rs 94 crore and a profit before tax of around Rs 68 crore during the financial year 2025-26, while maintaining a low NPA ratio of 0.30 per cent, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said on Wednesday.
Chairing the 408th Board Meeting of EDC Ltd, Sawant said the board approved the FY26 accounts and sanctioned term loans. He praised the corporation’s officers and staff for the strong financial performance.
The board also reviewed initiatives such as the Easy Exit Scheme under the Chief Minister’s Rozgar Yojana (CMRY), loan schemes for solar and renewable energy projects, and the Working Capital Term Loan Scheme.
Sawant said EDC continues to support MSMEs, entrepreneurship and economic growth, in line with the government’s vision of “Swayampurna Goa” and “Viksit Goa”.
