UCASSAIM: Five persons have been booked by police following allegations of trespassing, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation over an ongoing property dispute in Punola, Ucassaim, Bardez.
According to the complaint filed by Shekhar Shashikant Shetgaonkar, the incident occurred on October 29, 2026, when the accused allegedly entered his residential premises.
The accused have been identified as Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Pratiba Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Vedhant Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Sarita Govekar and Anil Govekar, who are reportedly family members and relatives of the complainant.
The complainant alleged that the accused restrained him and his family members from moving freely and threatened them with dire consequences due to a property dispute and personal issues.
The complaint was lodged on October 31 at 3.10 pm.
Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Ravina Sawtodkar.
