PANAJI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, has released the provisional merit list for 2026 degree admissions to NEET-based courses and pharmacy programmes.
However, the counselling process will not begin on August 18, as scheduled earlier, following changes to the All India Quota counselling timetable by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
DTE said fresh counselling dates and the detailed admission schedule will be announced after the MCC issues its revised state-wise schedule.
Candidates have been asked to check their details in the provisional merit list and report any discrepancies to the Degree Admission Committee at DTE, Porvorim, by 12 noon on August 17.
The Directorate has also warned that admissions based on an incorrect NEET rank, category certificate or eligibility status will be cancelled. Applicants are therefore advised to verify their information carefully.
The merit list includes categories such as General, NRI, SC, ST, OBC, PwD, ESM and Sports, along with a separate merit list for pharmacy admissions.
DTE said candidates will have to report in person at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, for admission. The revised counselling schedule will be announced on the DTE website.
