PANAJI: The Controller of Legal Metrology has designated specific centres across Goa for the calibration of vehicle tanks registered with the Transport Authorities.
Vehicle tanks registered in Pernem, Bardez, Bicholim and Tiswadi will undergo calibration at the Office of the Inspector, Legal Metrology, Mapusa-I, Dattawadi, Mapusa.
For vehicles registered in Ponda, Salcete, Mormugao, Quepem, Canacona and Dharbandora, calibration will be carried out at the Office of the Inspector, Legal Metrology, Margao-I, opposite the Railway Station, Margao.
The notification aims to streamline the calibration process based on the respective Transport Authority under which the vehicle tanks are registered.
