Goa Women Clinch Bronze at Senior T10 Tennis Ball Cricket Championship

Jagannath Puri (Odisha), Sept 14: The Goa Women’s team secured the bronze medal at the 2nd Senior Women’s T10 Tennis Ball Cricket Championship held at Jagannath Puri, Odisha, from September 11 to 14, 2025. The tournament was organised by the T10 Tennis Ball Cricket Association of Odisha in collaboration with the T10 Association of India.The prize distribution ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Dr. Sambit Patra (MP, Puri), Abhishek Singh (Secretary, T10 TBCAI), Nitesh Shinde (Treasurer, T10 TBCAI), Dayesh Vengurlekar (President, T10 TBCAG), Chandan Dongrekar, and Ramdas Varak.In the third-place playoff, Goa Women defeated Uttar Pradesh Women convincingly. Batting first, Uttar Pradesh managed 24 runs in 4 overs, with Babita Gawas delivering a stellar bowling performance, claiming 2 wickets for just 5 runs. Chasing the target, Goa reached the score in 3.3 overs, led by Tanuja with 12 runs and Neha Chari contributing 8 runs. Goa sealed victory by 8 wickets.The Goa Women’s team was felicitated with a trophy and medals. The team was coached by Sharmila Bandodkar.
