St. Andre Constituency:* Representatives and staff members of the Horticulture Department from across Goa met Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) MLA Viresh Borkar to discuss various issues affecting employees and the functioning of the department.
During the meeting, the staff highlighted several long-pending concerns related to service matters, working conditions, infrastructure, and administrative issues. They urged the MLA to take up these matters with the Government and ensure that their genuine grievances receive the attention they deserve.
MLA Viresh Borkar patiently heard the concerns raised by the delegation and assured them of his full support. He stated that the issues affecting Horticulture Department employees are important and deserve to be addressed through proper discussion in the Goa Legislative Assembly.
Borkar assured the delegation that he would raise the matter during the upcoming Assembly session and press the Government to provide appropriate solutions. He reiterated his commitment to standing with government employees and ensuring that their voices are heard on the floor of the House.
The staff members thanked the MLA for giving them a patient hearing and expressed hope that their long-pending issues would be taken up effectively during the forthcoming legislative session.
