New Delhi:Sri Sathya Sai District, May 9, 2025 — Murali Naik, a 27-year-old Indian Army soldier from Kalli Thanda hamlet in Puttagundlapalle village, Gorantla mandal, was martyred on Thursday night in cross-border firing by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC).Naik, known for his dedication and courage, laid down his life in the line of duty, leaving his village and family in deep mourning. His ultimate sacrifice has stirred an outpouring of grief and pride across the region.Local officials, community leaders, and residents have come forward to pay heartfelt tributes to the fallen hero. Murali’s bravery and patriotism are being remembered and honored by all who knew him.Authorities have assured full support to the bereaved family.
