PANAJI: The 9th meeting of the District Cooperative Development Committee for North Goa was held at the Conference Hall of the Collectorate in Panaji to review the progress of various cooperative development initiatives in the district.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Collector-II Akshay G. Potekar and attended by Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies (Technical) Kaushik B. Dessai, along with representatives from various government departments.
The committee reviewed the status of ongoing cooperative initiatives and discussed measures to strengthen the cooperative sector across North Goa.
Discussions focused on improving coordination among government departments, ensuring timely implementation of cooperative programmes and expanding their reach at the grassroots level.
The committee stressed the importance of continued inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective execution of initiatives and maximise their benefits for cooperative institutions and local communities.
