Opposition MLAs demand dismissal of Council of Ministers

Dona Paula:Opposition MLAs led by LoP Yuri Alemao, have petitioned Governor demanding for Dismissal of the Council of Ministers headed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Dissolution of the Goa Legislative Assembly on account of Unconstitutional Premature Curtailment of the Budget Session in Brazen Violation of Articles 174, 202, 203, and 208 of the Constitution of India, and the Model Code of Conduct obligations of the Election Commission of India — and further, that such Dismissal be proceeded with upon the Government's Refusal or Failure to convene a Special Session of the Legislature as separately demanded.MLA Venzy Viegas, MLA Cruz Silva and Viresh Borkar were present.
