Panaji, July 24: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has suspended its Treasurer, Mr. Ajay Kholkar, with immediate effect pending a disciplinary inquiry into alleged violations of the Party Constitution and unauthorized actions.
In an official press statement, RGP National President Shri Viresh Borkar said the suspension has been ordered following allegations that Ajay Kholkar acted in violation of the party's constitutional provisions and without proper authorization.
The party has constituted a disciplinary committee to investigate the matter. According to the statement, Mr. Kholkar will be given a fair opportunity to present his defence in accordance with the principles of natural justice and the provisions of the Party Constitution.
The RGP said the suspension will remain in force until the disciplinary process is completed and further orders are issued.
The announcement was issued by the Office of the National President, Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP).
