Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte has condemned the alleged incident involving police personnel and a hotel in Porvorim, calling the reported conduct “condemnable.”
Khaunte said he has already raised the matter with Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and expressed confidence that a proper investigation will be carried out.
He stressed that if any wrongdoing is established, appropriate action must follow.
Khaunte also highlighted Porvorim’s growing importance as a major urban-rural hub, with key institutions and infrastructure located in the constituency.
