PANAJI: Panaji Police have registered a case against Russian national Elena Pletneva for allegedly assaulting two policewomen at Panaji Police Station on October 7, 2026.
According to the complaint filed by a 25-year-old woman police constable, the incident took place at around 7 pm on the police station premises in Panaji, Tiswadi, while the personnel were performing their official duties.
The accused allegedly used criminal force against the complainant and another woman police constable, obstructing them from carrying out their lawful responsibilities.
Police have registered an offence under Sections 132 and 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
LPSI Harshal Raikar of Panaji Police Station is investigating the case. A notice has been issued to the accused.
