CANACONA: Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar on Monday chaired a review meeting with residents of Asali village in Shristhal and officials from various government departments to discuss and expedite key developmental projects through coordinated planning.
The meeting was attended by officials from the Electricity Department, Public Works Department (PWD), Water Supply Department, Roads Division, Water Resources Department (WRD) and the Tribal Welfare Department.
Several development issues were discussed, including the renovation and beautification of the Adinath Adipurush Karepaik Temple, road widening and bridge construction, construction of a mand shed, installation of electricity poles and streetlights, removal of hazardous trees, resolution of drinking water issues, employment opportunities, assistance for economically weaker families, construction of ShramDham houses, benefits under the Atal Aasra scheme and support for local artists through the Art and Culture Department.
During the meeting, Tawadkar assured villagers that all necessary administrative procedures would be completed at the earliest, tenders would be issued soon and work on the identified projects would commence without unnecessary delay.
Reaffirming his commitment to grassroots development, Tawadkar said the government remains focused on addressing the concerns of local residents while ensuring the overall development and welfare of Asali village through coordinated efforts by all departments.
