BAGA: Calangute Police have registered a case against three individuals for allegedly engaging in illegal online betting during the T-20 IPL cricket match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans on April 22, 2025.The raid was carried out in the early hours between 12:35 AM and 2:45 AM at Flat No. 203, Arsh’s Nest, Saldana Kayle Garden, Baga, Calangute, Bardez. During the operation, police seized one laptop and seven mobile phones valued at approximately ₹1,10,000.The arrested individuals have been identified as Ankit Rathore (34) from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh; and Badal (32) and Ajay (32), both from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.Police have booked the accused under Sections 3 and 4 of the Goa, Daman, and Diu Public Gambling Act.
