A violent altercation broke out between a group of tourists from Maharashtra and security guards at a hotel in Candolim, Goa, on Thursday night, leaving two people injured. The incident occurred at around 10 pm when six tourists from Kalyan, Maharashtra, got into a dispute with security guards at a hotel in Bamanwada-Candolim. The tourists had booked a villa at the hotel but were dissatisfied with the accommodation and had received a refund from the hotel owner. However, the situation escalated when a hotel staff member reported that one of the tourists, Dheeraj Chaudhary, had urinated in the hotel premises. The security guards confronted Chaudhary, leading to a heated argument and a physical fight. Chaudhary and a security guard, Gulzar Ali, were injured in the brawl and taken to the GMC hospital in Bambolim.
