Traffic to divert near Ribandar bypass from Jan 24 to March 23

The Public Works Department (PWD) has announced traffic diversion from Jan 24 to March 23, 2025, to enable the construction of a service road on a stretch of the existing Ribandar bypass on NH748, which is in progress.The work involves the construction of a box culvert across the main carriageway of NH748 near the Atal Setu up-ramp, for which there is a need to close the right-hand side of the highway for all types of vehicular traffic.The traffic proceeding towards Ponda via NH748 shall be diverted on the right-hand side service road for a short distance and merge onto NH748 to facilitate hindrance-free and speedy completion of the said sub-work.
