*Tragic Accident Claims Life of 19-Year-Old Youth in Chinchinim*

A devastating incident occurred in Chinchinim, Salcete, when a 19-year-old youth fell from the second floor of his residence while attempting to enter through a locked window. Despite receiving medical attention, the youth succumbed to severe head injuries.According to Cuncolim Police Inspector Diego Gracias, the incident occurred when the youth tried to enter his locked house through a second-floor window. He was initially rushed to the South District Hospital in Margao and later transferred to GMC Bambolim for advanced treatment. Unfortunately, he was declared dead during treatment.A post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was due to blunt force impact, resulting in damage to the head, brain, and chest. The police are conducting further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
