Ugandan National Booked for Alleged Illegal Stay in Goa

ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have registered a case against a 42-year-old Ugandan national for allegedly staying in Goa without a valid passport or required travel documents.

The case was registered late on August 11 following a Zero FIR received from Panaji Police Station. The offence has been registered under Section 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.

According to a complaint filed by FRRO Panaji Police Inspector Devendra Pingle, the accused, identified as Nyombi Aaliyah, was allegedly found staying in Goa in violation of immigration and foreigner-related regulations.

Further investigation is underway, with PSI Sahil V. Warang of Anjuna Police Station handling the case.
