VASCO: An unidentified man, believed to be around 45 to 50 years old, was found lying near the RTO Office at Baina, Vasco, on August 15.
According to police, they received a call from Robot staff at around 1.26 pm reporting the man. He was immediately shifted to SDH Chicalim by 108 ambulance personnel.
However, the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.
Police conducted an inquest panchanama at SDH Chicalim before the body was shifted to SGDH Margao, where it has been preserved for further medico-legal procedures.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been established.
Further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Plato Carvalho of Vasco Police Station.
