*Air India Express Launches Operations from Manohar International Airport-Mopa*In a significant development, Air India Express has announced the launch of its operations from Manohar International Airport-Mopa, with direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Indore, and Patna starting from April 15, 2025.This move is expected to boost connectivity and convenience for travelers to and from Goa. Manohar International Airport-Mopa, which commenced operations on January 5, 2023, has been developed at a cost of around Rs 2,870 crores and is designed to cater to around 4.4 million passengers per annum ¹.With this launch, Air India Express joins other airlines such as IndiGo and GO FIRST, which have already commenced operations from the new airport ¹ ². The airport is expected to emerge as a major hub for tourism and cargo in the region.
