Margao:During routine patrolling in the jurisdiction of Margao Town Police Station, Police Inspector Shri Suraj Samant identified and took action against multiple traffic violations. Two rent-a-bike vehicles were found parked illegally on the footpath and were operating without valid fitness certificates. These vehicles were promptly attached as per law.Additionally, two more motorcycles were seized for having modified silencers and without number plate, which cause noise pollution and are in violation of the Motor Vehicles Act.Appropriate legal action under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act has been initiated against all violators. The Margao Town Police remains committed to ensuring public safety and maintaining traffic discipline. Further strict action will be taken against similar violators in the future.
