Panaji: Former Union Minister and former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Eduardo Faleiro today visited the Congress House, Panaji, where he extended his best wishes to GPCC President Shri Girish Chodankar and congratulated him and the entire PCC team for their dedicated efforts in strengthening the organisation and effectively raising the concerns of the people of Goa.
During an interaction with party functionaries, Shri Faleiro appreciated the proactive role played by the GPCC in taking up public issues and exposing the failures of the BJP Government with determination and consistency. He said the Congress Party must continue to stand firmly with the people and remain a strong voice against anti-people policies.
Shri Faleiro stressed that protecting Goa’s land, water resources, hills, cultural heritage, and secular fabric is the need of the hour. He said these core values define Goa’s unique identity and must be safeguarded for future generations. He urged Congress workers to remain united and committed to preserving the state’s environment, inclusive traditions, and democratic values.
GPCC President Shri Girish Chodankar thanked Shri Eduardo Faleiro for his guidance, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Congress Party. He assured that the GPCC would continue to raise people’s issues fearlessly and intensify its struggle against policies detrimental to Goa’s interests.
Among those present on the occasion were Pradip Naik, Janardhan Bhandari, Rajesh Verekar, Mangaldas Naik, Shashank Narvekar, Archit Naik, Rajan Ghate, Sharad Chopdekar, Pratiksha Khalap, Virendra Shirodkar, Yogesh Govekar, Nonu Naik, and several other Congress leaders and workers.
GPCC General Secretary Pradip Naik welcomed the gathering, while General Secretary Varad Mardolkar proposed the vote of thanks.
The party members reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the values, ideology, and principles of the Indian National Congress and pledged to continue working tirelessly in the service of the people and for the protection of Goa’s identity and interests.
