OLD GOA: Old Goa Police have registered a case against a 27-year-old man from Margao after his 35-year-old girlfriend accused him of rape, physical assault, and criminal intimidation.
According to the complaint, the accused allegedly forced himself on the woman at a guest house in Old Goa on the night of June 28, 2026. The complainant further alleged that he had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions at various locations across Goa without her consent.
She also claimed that the accused physically assaulted and threatened her.
Based on her complaint, Old Goa Police have registered an offence under Sections 64, 115(2), and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The investigation is currently being conducted by LPSI Jasvita Naik of the Old Goa Police Station.
