AAIB Report: Air India Crash Triggered by Dual Engine Failure Seconds After Takeoff.

News Delhi; In a devastating development, India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has released findings on the Air India crash, revealing that both engines failed within seconds of takeoff. According to the report, the pilots did not cut fuel supply, yet the engines shut down and could not be restarted. The aircraft’s Ram Air Turbine (RAT) deployed automatically, indicating complete engine failure. Thrust levers were found in idle position, and the crew’s efforts to relight the engines were unsuccessful. The plane crashed just 32 seconds after liftoff.Investigators confirmed the jet had uncontaminated fuel on board. However, a known flaw with the fuel control switch — a critical component — had not been inspected prior to the flight, raising serious questions about maintenance oversight.#AirIndiaCrash #AAIBReport #AviationSafety #EngineFailure
