Today, I conducted a detailed review meeting in the presence of Dr. Rupa Naik (Director DHS), Dr. Uday Kakodkar (HOD, Respiratory Medicine), Dr. Manish Gaunekar (State TB Officer, NTEP), Dr. Ida Ataide Noronha (Dean, Dental College), and advisors to the Health Minister, Dr. Geeta Kakodkar and Ms Frazella De Araujo, along with officials from DHS. The discussion focused on assessing our preparedness and outlining key action points to accelerate our progress toward TB elimination in Goa.
Our efforts are strongly aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, ensuring Health for All through accessible screening, early detection, and comprehensive care, as we continue to strengthen our healthcare ecosystem across the state.
