*AITC Goa Convenor Led the Patriotic Rally to Honour the Nation’s Heroes*

Sancoale, Goa | May 19, 2025:* In a heartfelt tribute to India's brave soldiers, the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) Goa unit organised a *Patriotic Rally and Felicitation Ceremony* today at Zuarinagar. The event is part of a nationwide initiative announced by AITC Chairperson *Smt. Mamata Banerjee* was aimed at recognising and honouring the selfless service of Indian Armed Forces veterans.The rally was *led by AITC Goa State Convenor Mr Mariano Rodrigues,* and witnessed enthusiastic participation from party members, local residents, and supporters carrying the tricolour and chanting slogans of national pride.Following the rally, a ceremonial function was held at Dr. Isidoro Carvalho Multipurpose Hall, where *three decorated veterans* were honoured for their valour and dedication:- *Capt. Gerald Fernandes*- *Maj. Victor Zuzart*- *NK Sampurna Singh*The veterans were felicitated by *AITC Parliamentary Party Leader in Rajyasabha, Mr Derek O'Brien* and *State Convenor, Mr Mariano Rodrigues*, in the presence of *AITC National Spokesperson, Mr Trajano D'Mello*, *State Leaders, Ms Sulthana Shaikh and Mr Rajendra Kakodkar.*Speaking at the event, Mr Derek O'Brien _reaffirmed the party’s commitment to upholding the dignity of India's armed forces and recognising their unparalleled contributions to the nation._
