Amit Patkar Condemns BJP Govt’s Criminal Neglect of Goa’s Roads

Panjim:Goa’s roads have today turned into death traps under the failed and insensitive rule of the BJP Government. The shocking incident at Guirim, where an ambulance carrying a patient overturned due to the dangerous state of our roads, is a direct result of the BJP Government’s criminal neglect and apathy towards public safety.This is not mere misgovernance — it is murderous apathy that is putting innocent lives at risk every single day. The Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, and the @BJP4Goa Government have consistently ignored repeated warnings, complaints, and pleas from the people regarding the pathetic condition of our roads.When even an ambulance, meant to save lives, becomes a victim of these unsafe roads, it reflects the complete failure of governance in Goa. Instead of ensuring safe infrastructure, the BJP Government continues with corruption, contractor favoritism, and reckless spending, while Goans suffer daily.I strongly condemn this negligence and demand that the Chief Minister immediately take accountability for the worsening condition of roads across the state. Goans deserve safe, well-maintained roads — not excuses and false assurances.On behalf of Goa Congress, I extend prayers for the speedy recovery of the patient injured in this tragic accident.
