BJP’s Lies Against Mallikarjun Kharge Expose Their Fear of a Strong Dalit Leader: Patkar

PANAJI: GPCC President Amit Patkar said that irresponsible and baseless statement made by BJP National General Secretary Radha Mohan Agarwal, alleging irregularities by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Waqf Board properties, is not just a blatant lie—it is a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of one of India’s tallest and most respected Dalit leaders.

“Kharge has an unblemished political career spanning over five decades. His integrity, commitment to the Constitution, and dedication to public service are beyond question,” he added

Patkar said that BJP unable to counter his leadership and growing influence among marginalized sections, the BJP has now stooped to spreading fake narratives and misinformation.

“We challenge Radha Mohan Agarwal to present a single shred of evidence to support his claims. If he fails to do so, the BJP must issue an unconditional apology to Kharge and the people of this country for misleading them,” he added

He also said that the people of India can see through the BJP’s diversionary tactics. When the nation is grappling with inflation, unemployment, and crony capitalism, the BJP is busy manufacturing lies to divert attention from its failures.

“The Congress party stands firmly behind Mallikarjun Kharge, a leader who symbolizes social justice, constitutional values, and fearless opposition to BJP’s authoritarianism,” he added
