Congress Rules Out Return of Defected MLAs, Focuses on Strengthening in Goa.

Margao; At a gathering in Margao, AICC Goa desk in-charge Manickrao Thakrey firmly stated that the Congress will not re-admit any of the eight MLAs who defected to the BJP. Speaking alongside GPCC President Amit Patkar and leader Savio Coutinho, Thakrey clarified that these leaders will also be denied tickets for the 2027 elections. He emphasized that the Congress is actively working to reinforce its presence across all 40 assembly constituencies in Goa.
