Panjim;Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant chaired a productive meeting at Mantralaya on Unlocking Goa’s Agricultural Export Potential with APEDA and Jaivik Bharat, alongside Agriculture Minister Shri Ravi Naik, MLAs Shri Premendra Shet, Smt. Deviya Rane, Chief Secretary, Director Agriculture, APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev, Secretary Agriculture Arun Kumar, and other experts.

HCM informed that key discussions included:

APEDA’s role in promoting exports across 18 major agricultural product categories

Export data highlights: ₹27.90 billion (US$ 27.90 Bn) in agricultural exports for 2024-25

HCM stated that Goa proudly stands as a naturally organic state and is set to form a dedicated cashew board to further boost agriculture and urged everyone to together pave the way for a sustainable and prosperous future for Goa’s farmers and exporters!
