Porvorim:A significant step forward for the cooperative movement in Goa was marked with the appointment of Shri Sanjay Mandrekar as Chairman and Shri Narayan N. Kamat as Vice Chairman of Goa State Cooperative Union Ltd.
On the occasion, Shri Subhash Shirodkar, Hon’ble Minister for Water Resources (WRD), Provedoria and Cooperation Department, congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed confidence in their ability to strengthen and further advance the cooperative sector in the State.
The felicitation ceremony was held in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and members of the Board of Directors. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Subhash Shirodkar stated that the leadership of Shri Sanjay Mandrekar and Shri Narayan N. Kamat will bring renewed momentum, vision and direction to the cooperative movement, creating greater opportunities and benefits for the people of Goa.
