Goa Tourism mandates registration of Online Travel Aggregators to ensure compliance and transparency.

Panaji, May 28, 2025* : The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, has issued a directive mandating all Online Travel Aggregators (OTAs) operating in the state to register under the Goa Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982 and Rules of 1985. All such entities must complete their registration within 15 working days from the date of issue of the official circular.The directive has been issued following observations that several OTAs are conducting/operating the activity i.e. accepting online bookings without obtaining the required No Objection Certificate (N.O.C.), licence, or permissions from the Department of Tourism under the provision of Goa Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982 and Rules of 1985. All concerned are directed to comply with this directive in strict adherence.
