Panaji: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Shri Girish Chodankar has constituted an ad hoc Media Team with immediate effect to strengthen the Party’s communication, media outreach, and spokesperson responsibilities across the State of Goa.
The newly constituted Media Team will function on behalf of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee and will be responsible for effectively communicating the Party’s policies, programmes, positions, and public concerns through various media platforms. The arrangement will remain in force until the All India Congress Committee (AICC) constitutes a full-fledged Media Team for Goa.
The following office-bearers have been appointed to the Ad Hoc Media Team:
* Amarnath Panjikar – Chief Spokesperson
* Adv. Amit Ashok Palekar – Convenor & Spokesperson
* Samil Volvoikar – Spokesperson
* Adv. Yemane D’Souza – Spokesperson
* Adv. Shabnam Khan – Spokesperson
* Vivek D’Silva – Spokesperson
* Savio Coutinho – Spokesperson
* Adv. Lavinia Da Costa – Spokesperson
* Menino Da Cruz – Spokesperson
* Mahesh Mahambrey – Spokesperson
GPCC President Girish Chodankar expressed confidence that the newly appointed team will play a crucial role in strengthening the Party’s engagement with the people of Goa and ensuring that the Congress Party’s voice is effectively represented on issues concerning public welfare, governance, and democratic values.
All party functionaries and workers have been requested to extend full cooperation to the Media Team in the discharge of its responsibilities.
