"On Doctors’ Day, CM Sawant Receives Ayurved Vibhushan, Calls for Wellness-Driven Goa"

Panjim:Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant attended and addressed the National Doctors’ Day celebrations organized by the Goa Council of Ayurvedic and other Allied Indian Systems of Medicine.

HCM expressed gratitude to receive the Gomant Ayurved Vibhushan Puraskar. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all organisers for this recognition.

On this special occasion, HCM paid his tributes to Shri Dev Dhanvantari, the divine pioneer of Ayurveda, for gifting us the ancient Indian wisdom of healing.

HCM said that under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, Ayurveda and AYUSH systems have received global recognition. He further mentioned that Goa too is progressing strongly, from digital council registration to last-mile Ayurveda access and that the Union and State Governments remain committed to strengthening the Ayurved system and holistic healthcare in Goa and India.

HCM urged everyone to collectively work towards wellness tourism, preventive care, and innovative research in Ayurveda for a healthier tomorrow.
