RGP Chief Alleges Irregularities in Thivim Panchayat, Seeks Halt to Mega Project

THIVIM: Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) chief Manoj Parab has alleged irregularities in the functioning of the Thivim panchayat, claiming that it is being controlled not by the BJP but by former MLA Kiran Kandolkar.Addressing the media, Parab accused the panchayat secretary and members of granting permission to a mega project without conducting a mandatory site inspection.He termed the move as fraudulent and demanded that the approval be immediately revoked.Parab further stated that local villagers are strongly opposing the proposed project and warned that the RGP would support residents in their protest if corrective action is not taken.He urged authorities to intervene and ensure transparency in the decision-making process.
