Aldona, Goa: The Under-19 Boys Football Team of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Aldona, has produced an impressive performance in the Under-19 Football Tournament – Zone I, securing a well-deserved place in the Semi-Finals.
In their opening match, St. Thomas HSS Aldona played out an exciting 2–2 draw against St. Xavier’s HSS, Mapusa in regulation time. Demonstrating tremendous composure and determination, the Aldona boys prevailed in the tie-breaker to book their place in the next round.
Continuing their winning momentum, the team delivered a commanding performance in the second match, defeating Harmal Panchkroshi HSS, Harmal, by a convincing 3–0 margin.
The back-to-back strong performances reflect the team’s skill, discipline, teamwork and fighting spirit. The players displayed excellent coordination on the field and showed great determination under pressure.
